Events, tickets & QR entry

Rules for organizers creating ticketed events and buyers purchasing tickets through Planifya.

1. Scope and roles

Unless an event expressly says Planifya is the organizer, the organizer is independently responsible for the event, venue, permissions, staff, safety and delivery. Planifya provides marketplace, payment, ticketing, QR-validation, refund and payout tools.

2. Event eligibility and verification

Creating an event does not make it publicly saleable. Ticketed events require Planifya/admin verification. Organizers may need event NOCs, registration and other permissions. Planifya may request further evidence or reject, suspend or remove an event.

3. Listing accuracy

  • Use the real organizer/event name, dates, times, venue, location and category.
  • Disclose age/entry restrictions, attendee requirements, refund/change terms and material limitations.
  • Use artwork and media you have rights to use.
  • Do not misrepresent performers, venue, sponsors, approvals, capacity or ticket inclusions.
  • Notify buyers promptly when material details change.

4. Ticket packages, capacity and cutoff

Tiers can have different prices and inventory. Organizers must set realistic capacity and not intentionally oversell. The sales cutoff cannot be later than event end; sales may close earlier due to sell-out, organizer action, verification, suspension or risk controls.

5. Buyer tickets and QR entry

Successful paid bookings generate unique ticket IDs and QR credentials with statuses such as unused, used, cancelled or refunded. Buyers should protect QR codes. Gate staff must use the organizer scanner; a screenshot is not valid if the official status says used, cancelled or refunded.

6. Changes, postponement and termination

For postponement or a material change—such as date, venue, headline performer or essential service—the organizer must notify buyers and follow the remedy displayed in event terms and applicable law.

Termination blocks affected proceeds.If an organizer or Planifya terminates an event through the platform process, affected paid bookings enter the refund workflow and the organizer does not receive those refunded proceeds.

Planifya may correct or refund an oversold ticket or a booking affected by payment/platform reconciliation error.

7. Charges and organizer payouts

Buyers pay the displayed ticket price. Planifya deducts the applicable configured charge from organizer proceeds. The live organizer terms show rates and holding periods; existing transaction commission and net remain frozen.

Ticket proceeds remain held through the event and post-event holding period. Eligibility does not itself transfer funds; Planifya processes the bank transfer separately and records status/proof.

8. Gate operations and prohibited conduct

  • Use authorized devices/staff and validate each ticket against the correct event.
  • Do not bypass capacity or payment controls, duplicate QR credentials or manipulate scan status.
  • Maintain a reasonable connectivity contingency without creating duplicate entry records.
  • Do not sell without rights/permissions, forge NOCs, mislead buyers, evade held-fund controls or harass buyers seeking legitimate support.

The organizer remains responsible for physical venue and event safety and lawful admission policies.
